The specialty of family practice combines the latest in medical technologies with a long tradition of caring and service. Family physicians evaluate and treat an individual as a whole person, taking into account all the factors that can affect health and well-being - genetics, family history, diet, prevention, mental health and chronic disease management.
Riverside Family Health is a true medical home. We are a patient-centered practice that cares for all of our patients' physical and mental health needs, including preventive and wellness, chronic care, and acute care.
Meet the Doctor & Staff
Stephane Naoumoff, MD
Dr. Naoumoff graduated medical school from Universite Francois Rabelais-Faculte de Medecine in Tours, France. He then moved to the French Territory Island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific where he served as a Medical Doctor for the local population for 2 years. He came to Florida in 1996 and met his wife in Gainesville, where he later completed his US Medical Residency in Family Practice at the University of Florida. They came to the Space Coast (where his wife was raised) in 2001 and opened Riverside Family Health.
Eighteen years and three kids later, Dr. Naoumoff doesn't regret his decision to go solo in Merritt Island. He loves the water and outdoor activities available to him here, and he stays fit by swimming - A LOT. 2021 will be his 10th year swimming in the 12.5 Mile Annual Swim Around Key West!
Alyssa was adopted at 1 year old, and has lived in Brevard County her whole life. She graduated from Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. high school, and received her AA degree from Eastern Florida State College. She is a family girl, and has always looked up to her aunt who is an RN. This is what inspired her to become a Medical Assistant and joined us in 2015. Eventually she would like to work up the ladder to become an RN, but she truly loves her job at Riverside Family Health and the patients and fellow staff she works with.
Marze Boersma, PA-C
Marze Boersma is a Brevard County native. She graduated from "The Rock" in 1998 and the University of Florida in 2002 with her Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Sciences. She then worked in Palm Beach County as Certified Athletic Trainer and Interim School Teacher. Marze soon returned to Gainesville to Graduate Cum Laude with Masters in Physician Assistant studies and spent the next 5 years of her career in Fort Lauderdale working in Internal Medicine. In 2011, she returned to Brevard County to start her own family and joined Riverside Family Health. Even after 12 years of experience Marze loves what she does. "Becoming a PA-C was the best thing I ever did for my future."
Office Manager & Billing
Jennifer considers herself a Brevard County native; she moved here at age 6 and attended Rockledge High School. After a short career in retail display and merchandising, she decided to return to her first love: healthcare. She attended the University of Central Florida, studying Biomedical Sciences, and joined the Riverside team in January of 2016. Jennifer likes to take on new challenges, and is always learning. She enjoys meeting people, interacting with local members of our community, and sharing health and wellness knowledge with a wide range of people, including patients, other healthcare professionals, and beyond!
Medical Assistant/Front Office
Matt was born at CCH in 1972, and his mother still lives his my childhood home, 2 miles from where he currently lives. His father was from Canada and his mother is from Michigan. Growing up, his family took a lot of trips to both places, as well as out west. He lived in Orlando from 1991 to 1999, where he was an area manager for Domino's Pizza Corporate. After moving back to Brevard County, he then went into the dental field and managed offices in both Rockledge and Ft. Myers until he joined the team at Riverside Family Health in 2018. His free time is spent on his beach cruiser or kayak, and taking his cat Frank outside to explore and chase lizards.
